Road Closure affecting Cork City Route 216
Cork City Council have advised that in order to facilitate water connection works, Bandon Road / Glasheen Road will close to traffic from its junction with Hartland’s Avenue to its junction with Lough Road, on Monday, 25 July and Tuesday, 26 July 2022 – from 23:45 to 06:00 (nightly).
Denroches Cross, Glasheen Road will be closed from its junction with Magazine Road to its junction with Hartland’s Avenue on Wednesday, 27 July and Thursday, 28 July 2022, from 23:45 to 06:00 (nightly).
As result the 23:15, Route 216 service from Monkstown to CUH will operate as follows:At junction of St. Finbarr’s Road/Glasheen Road/Lough Road (“Galvin’s Corner”) continue ahead to Lough Road. Continue on Lough Road & Togher Road to junction with Clashduv Road. Turn right to Clashduv Road, left to Riverview Estate and normal route thereafter.
