Amended timetables on Bus Éireann and Expressway routes from Sunday 13 September 2020

Bus Éireann has introduced revised timetables for services across many routes until further notice. These timetables are designed to provide a public transport service across the country for those who need to travel, whilst reflecting the reduced passenger numbers on public transport and the most up-to-date advice and guidance from the health authorities in relation to physical distancing.

Face coverings are mandatory on all Bus Éireann services

In line with Government instruction, face coverings must be worn when boarding or travelling on vehicles from Monday 29 June 2020 and until further notice, unless an exemption applies.

Road Closure affecting Cork Route 233

Cork City Council have advised that the Lee Road will be closed to traffic from its junction with Leemount Cross to its junction with Morgans Hill until Friday, 14 August, from 9.30am to 4pm daily.

Road Closure affecting Cork Route 237

Cork County Council have advised that to facilitate Project ACT – Pearse Street, Clonakilty, Temporary Pedestrian Priority, Pearse Street will be closed to traffic from 2pm to 10pm each Saturday, 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 August and 5, 12, 19 and 26 September.

Relocation of bus stop Midleton Routes 40 (drop off only), 240, 241, 260 and 261

Customers are advised that the Bus Stop located at Midleton Library (Bus Stop ID 216371) will be relocated by approximately 200 metres south to outside Lee Travel premises, near junction with Distillery Walk to facilitate social distancing in Midleton.

Road Closure affecting Cork City Route 202

Cork City Council have advised that Gurranabraher Road will be closed to traffic from its junction with Cathedral Road to its junction with St. Colmcille’s Road from 9:30 on Monday, 6 July to 18:00 on Tuesday, 7 July 2020.

Road Closure affecting Cork Route 223

Cork City Council have advised that in order to facilitate resurfacing works, Inniscarra Road (R618), will be closed to traffic from Leemount Cross to Inniscarra Bridge Road each day from 09:30 to 20:00 until Friday, 26 June 2020.
