Service disruption, Mahon area,Cork, from Thursday 11th July 2024

11th July to 23rd July:


• Route 202A outbound to Mahon Point:  Ringmahon Road; Avenue de Rennes, Skehard Road,  Estuary Road and per as normal route

• Route 202A inbound from Mahon Point as normal to Estuary Drive, Skehard Road; Avenue De Rennes, Ringmahon Road and normal route thereafter.

• Route 212: Thursday, 11th July, from 08:00hrs to 18:30hrs.

  • Outbound to Mahon Point: Ringmahon Road, Avenue de Rennes, Skehard Road, Estuary Road and as per normal route.
  • Inbound from  Mahon Point SC to Estuary Road, Skehard Road, Avenue de Rennes, Ringmahon Road and as per normal route.
  • Route 212 will not serve Castle Road/Ferney Road Monday 8th July to Thursday, 11th July inclusive.  This is a 24 hour closure. On 11th July, at times other than 08:00hr to 18:30hrs, Route 212 will remain on Ringmahon Road/Estuary Drive, not serving Ferney Road/Castle Road.

• Route 212: Fri, 12th July, & Mon 15th July to Wed 17th July, 08:00hrs to 18:30hrs.

  •  Outbound to Mahon Point SC:  Ringmahon Road, Ferney Road/Castle Road, right to Ringmahon Road, Avenue De Renne, Skehard Road, Estuary Drive and as per normal to Mahon Point SC.
  •  Inbound: ex Mahon Point to Estuary Drive; Skehard Road; Avenue de Rennes; right to Ringmahon Road; left to Castle Road/Ferney; right to Ringmahon Road and as per normal.

• Route 219:  Ringmahon Road, Avenue de Rennes, Skehard Road, Estuary Road and as normal. 

The following bus stops will not be served:

  • 246351 Ringmahon GAA Pitch (202A; 212;)
  • 246851 Ringmahon Road (202A; 212; 219)
  • 237191 Ringmahon (202A; 212)
  • 237201 Ringmahon GAA Pitch (202A; 212)
  • 213861 Holy Cross Mahon (202A)
  • 246921 Holy Cross Mahon (219)
  • 234041 Ferney Road (Route 212 – 11th July only)
  • 246791 Ferney Road (Route 212 – 11th July only)

Services can be accessed at bus stops on:

  • Skehard Road
  •  Estuary Drive
  • St. Michael’s Drive (219)

Wednesday 24th July to Friday, 26th July, 2024:


Routes 202; 202A; 219 will operate via Ferney Road and Castle Road (as per Route 212) between 08:00hrs and 18:30hrs.  No bus stops will be missed as a result of this diversion.
