Cork City Route 206: Diversion due to the closure of South Douglas Road, Cork,

Due to roadworks on South Douglas Road, Route 206 will operate on a diversion route, from 7.30pm to 6am on Monday 4 September and Tuesday, 5 September, 2023.

Route 206 from City Centre to Douglas will operate via Southern Road, Douglas Road, Tramore Lawn to rejoin Douglas Road, then as per normal Route.

Route 206 from Douglas to City Centre will operate as per normal Route to junction with Rathmore Lawn, then via Rathmore Lawn, Douglas Road, Southern Road rejoining normal Route on Infirmary Road.

To access Route 206 on the diversion Route, please go to bus stops on Douglas Road which will be served by Route 206.  

Alternatively, bus stops from South Mall to Infirmary Road; and between Douglas and Rathmore Lawn junction will be served as normal.
