Diversions at South Main Street, Cork City

The bus stops for Cork City Routes 214 and 216 are moving due to essential roadworks creating diversions at South Main Street, from 20 January to 3 March 2025.


The bus stops for Cork City Routes 214 and 216 are moving due to essential roadworks creating diversions at South Main Street, from 20 January to 3 March 2025.

Route 214

Route 214, ex Knockraha and Glyntown Glanmire, will operate as normal as far as Kent Rail Station. This route will serve stops on Clontarf Street, Anglesley Street and Sullivan’s Quay before resuming the normal route at French’s Quay. Westbound stops at Parnell Place, St. Patrick’s Street and South Main Street will not be served for the duration. Eastbound services ex CUH are unaffected.

Route 216

Route 216 ex Monkstown will operate as normal as far as George’s Quay. Route will then serve a temporary stop on Sullivan’s Quay before resuming the normal route at French’s Quay. Westbound stop at Grand Parade and South Main Street will not be served for the duration. Eastbound services ex CUH are unaffected.
