Please note the following service disruption in the western and northwestern region on Sunday, 12th July 2026.

Route 51
The annual Cahirmee Horse Fair takes place in Buttevant town, Cork on Sunday & Monday 12th & 13th of July affecting services on Route 51.
The fair itself will take place on Monday 13th July, although the Gardaí have advised that there may be some disruption on Sunday 12th the road maybe closed.
To facilitate the smooth movement of traffic on the N20, diversions are in place throughout the day.
Northbound and Southbound traffic will be diverted via Doneraile in both directions.
• Northbound traffic on the N20 will be diverted at Newtwopothouse via Doneraile returning to the N20 at Lisballyhea.
• Southbound traffic on the N20 will be diverted at Lisballyhea via Doneraile and returning to N20 at Newtwopothouse.

🚧Roadworks & Diversions🚧

🔹Route 51🔹

🔹Route 201 & 203🔹

08 July 2026 – 29 July 2026 (24 Hour Closure)
Due to roadworks on Knockpogue Avenue, Routes 203 and 201 will operate on diversion for the duration of the works.
The following stops will not be served:

211721 – Farranree Church
242421 – Scoil Iosagain
242431 – Upper Fairhill
242441 – Eir Churchfield

Temporary bus stops will be in operation at:

End of Popham's Road
Fairfield Avenue / Upper Fairhill Junction

Inbound services are not affected.


🔹Route 202 & 202a🔹

From 06/07/26 to 17/07/26 Nightly Closures 20:00 – 06:00

A Nightly Road Closure will be in place at Hibernian Buildings/Monerea Terrace. Stop 236841 will not be served. Please use alternative stops.


🔹Route 237🔹

Services are unable to serve stop 215621 in Goleen Village until 31st August

Please use the alternative bus stop at Emily’s Garden when buses are unable to access this stop 215621.
Alternative location:

Emily’s Garden – opposite the car park, near the grotto.


🔹Routes 239🔹

Due to a road closure, Route 239 services are currently unable to serve Waterfall & Killeady.

Due to Roadworks, the main Westbound stop at Bandon will not be in service for the duration of these works. Passengers are asked to go the Cork side of Station Road until further notice.

Route 64   15:00 Sligo to Derry Service, is currently running 30 mins late, due to traffic delays. 
                16:00 Sligo to Galway Service, is currently running 60 mins late, due to traffic delays.


Route 301 , 302 , 303, 304, 304A, 305, 306, 313
All city services will be affected today due to a parade through the city center from 14.00 to 15.00. Diversions will be in place during this period.

Route 333 Armada Hotel Stop
Please be advised that Bus Eireann cannot access the Armada Hotel stop dus to parked vehicles. Please make your way to a safe place on the main road

Route 456  Galway to Castlebar Service is currently running 30 minutes late due to late arrival at Galway station.
