Towards Blarney: Passengers are advised to use Gateway stop 213541 by Northpoint.
Towards Cork: Passengers who usually use the Gateway stop will need to use Mallow Rd Junction stop 213551 on the New Mallow Rd.

Cork City Council have advised of the following road closure.
Customers are advised that due to roadworks in Maryville
Road Closure will be in place from the Victoria Road Roundabout to its junction with Marquee Road between 21:00hrs and 06:00hrs.
As a result , the 212 service will need to operate via the Blackrock Rd in both directions. (This is in addition to the ongoing diversion that is already in place 5th Jan – 6th Feb.)

Cork City Council have advised of the following road closure.
Road Closure in place between 09:00hrs on Monday the 5th of January and 18:00hrs on Friday the 06th of February from its junction with the Blackrock Road to its junction with Monahan Road to facilitate large scale ESB Ducting upgrades.
As a result, the 212-service outbound, from Marquee Rd turn right to Monahan Rd, continue to Victoria Rd Roundabout towards, take the 4th exit and follow the Victoria/Blackrock Rd towards Blackrock to the Venue Bar and normal route thereafter. Return trip from Mahon operate reverse of this. Maryville cannot be served.

The inbound bus stop at Caesar's Palace in Salthill is closed for a short period from 4th February. A temporary bus stop will be in place outside the bank of Ireland.
Route 405
From 18th to 20th February, Active Travel works along Ballybane Road and Castlepark Road will result in diversions. Services on Route 405 will not serve St. James Road and will instead divert via Walter Macken Road. Maps may be viewed on at www.galwaycity.ie.

⚠️ Service Disruption – Thomastown Road Closure
Dates: Monday 16th – Sunday 22nd February 2026
Time: 08:00 – 21:00 daily
Affected Routes: 4, 73, 365
Due to the closure of Lady’swell Street (R700/R448), Thomastown, and because of the one-way system and narrow streets in the town, bus services cannot safely access the town centre during the works. There is no suitable alternative route available.

Routes: 2, 131 and 133, Please note the following service disruptions in the Eastern Region due to safety-related landscape management works on the N11 between Junction 7 (Bray South) and Junction 11 (Kilpedder).
The works will take place from Tuesday 3rd February to Saturday 28th February, Monday to Friday between 21:00 and 06:00, and will be delivered in two phases.
Phase 1 – Southbound Closure
Tuesday 3rd to Friday 13th February (21:00–06:00)
N11 Junction 7 to Junction 11 – Full Closure
Buses will be assisted between Junction 7 and Junction 8 to serve Kilmacanogue.
A diversion will operate in line with the Traffic Management Plan (TMP) and will apply to all affected routes.

Route 2 (ex Dublin) will not miss any stops but will also be required to follow the diversion between Junctions 7 and 11.
Phase 2 – Northbound Closure
Monday 16th to Friday 27th February (21:00–06:00)
N11 Junction 11 to Junction 7 – Full Closure
The diversion for Phase 2 is the reverse of Phase 1.
