Route 73
16:15 Waterford to Longford - this service will terminate at Athlone bus station.
18:25 Longford to Waterford - this service will commence from Athlone bus station at 19:20.


Route 450
09:20 Dooagh to Louisburgh - cancelled.
12:15 Louisburgh to Dooagh - this service will commence from Westport at 10:51.


Route A2
Roadworks at Barrack Street, Athlone will affect inbound services on Route A2 in Athlone town, from Kilmartin to Bellanamullia. The bus stop at Luan Gallery (456061) on the church side, is temporarily relocated 100 metres north of its current location, closer to the Athlone Boat Club, for the duration of the works. The works are expected to last until mid to late October.

We wish to advise customers travelling on our services that the celebration of the Waterford Harvest Festival 2026 in Waterford City from Friday 04/09/2026 to Sunday 06/09/2026 will affect Route W4.

W4, Brownes Road to Peter Street - The following stops will not be served:
•              Ballybricken (stop 352721)
•              Peter Street-Arundel Square (stop 353271)

Alternative stop:
•              The Clock Tower (drop off stop 352011)


W4, Peter Street to Brownes Road - The following stop will not be served:
•              Peter Street-Arundel Square (stop 353271)

Alternative stop:
•              Meagher’s Quay (drop off stop 352581)

Due to roadworks, Route 466 Athlone to Cavan  will be affected from Monday, 31 August 2026, until Friday, 4 September 2026.
As a result, the Glasson stops (557741 & 557711) will not be served between 08:00 and 20:00 during this period.

Alternative stops:
- Clonbrusk
- Ballymahon
We expect delays in both directions

>>> Roadworks on Cornagrade Rd in Enniskillen affecting Route 30

Traffic restrictions will be in place from 09:30 to 16:30, congestion is expected leading up to 30 minutes delays at times.

Passengers are advised to plan their journeys in advance and allow extra time, as delays are expected due to road closures.

>>> Permanent Bus Stop Relocation:
STOP 101231 – JAMESTOWN, RATOATH (BALLYBIN ROUNDABOUT)

Routes 103, 105 and 109A

We wish to advise customers of the permanent relocation of the following bus stop: Jamestown, Ratoath (Ballybin Roundabout) - Stop 101231.

The bus stop will be permanently relocated a few meters ahead to facilitate the boarding and alighting of passengers after the new roads layout.

The previous location will be closed permanently.

The road closure will be in place from 08:00 to 20:00, with the road remaining open outside these hours.

Cork City Council have advised, that due to ESB ducting works, College Road will be closed to traffic during the above timeframe. Therefore, route 205 will not be able to serve the following stops while operating on diversion:

🔹Routes 40, 260 & 261🔹

Feast Festival 2026
Midleton


Customers are advised that Main Street, Midleton will be closed from 06:00hrs to 20:00hrs approx. on Sunday 6th September 2026 to facilitate the Feast Festival. Routes 40, 260 & 261 will operate via Riverside Way & Broderick Street for the duration of the closure.

As a result. Routes 40, 260 & 261 will be unable to serve stops 242151 & 244751 for the duration of the closure.

All services will pick up/drop off at Riverside Way



🔹Route 226 🔹

South Douglas Road Slip Road Closure
From: 05:00hrs, Monday 31 August 2026 Until: 20:00hrs, Friday 11 September 2026

Customers are advised that due to ESB ducting works, the South Link Slip Road (Inbound) will be fully closed to all traffic.

During the closure, the following stop will not be served:

Stop 240881 - Evergreen Road
Stop 240891- Langford Row

Please use stop 240911 South Terrace

Due to road works bus stop 241221 Southern Road cannot be accessed from 09:30 -21:30 26/08/26 until 05/09/26. Please use temporary stop on Anglesea Street (Near Ramen)51.894390, -8.465046 for duration of road works


🔹Route 212🔹

*Centre Park Road Closure - 4 August - 30 October 2026*

Due to a 24-hour road closure on Centre Park Road to facilitate road works, Route 212 will operate via Monahan Road for the duration of the works.
Customers are advised to use the nearest available stops on Monahan Road, as buses will not serve Centre Park Road during this period.

Route A2

Route 466
Westmeath County Council are undertaking roadworks along the N55, between Ballykeeran and Ballymahon from 8:00 to 20:00, Monday to Friday, until 4th September 2026. As a result, the stops at Glasson (557741 & 557711) will not be served during these hours. Please allow for detour delays of 45 minutes.

14:30 Cavan to Athlone - delayed by 45 minutes.



Routes 64, 480, 487, 491 & 494
Due to a road closure in Ballybofey, Co. Donegal, northbound services on Routes 64, 480, 487, 491 & 494 are unable to serve the bus stop at Butt Hall (635831). Passengers are advised to board and alight at Aldi on Chestnut Road. Southbound services are not affected. The closure will be in place until the new year at the earliest.
