Service Updates

Please note the following disruptions to our services in the Western and Northwestern region on Tuesday, 17th March 2026.


Route 401: 
From Dr Mannix Rd to Parkmore, services will operate from Merchants Rd to a temporary city centre terminus on Fairgreen Rd (Eyre Square and Bóthar Brendain ÚI Eithir will not be served during parade)

Route 402:
 From Shangort Rd to Merlin Park, services will operate from UHG to a temporary city centre terminus on Bóthar Brendain ÚI Eithir Rd (University Rd, Francis St, Eyre Square, Prospect Hill and Bohermore will not be served during parade)

Route 402:
 From Merlin Park to Shangort Rd, services will operate from Dublin Rd to a temporary city centre terminus on Fairgreen Rd (Bohermore, Eyre Square, Francis St and University Rd not served during parade).

Route 404: 
from Oranmore to Westside, services will operate from Dublin Rd to a temporary city centre terminus on Fairgreen Rd (College Rd, Eyre Square, Francis St, University Rd and Lower Newcastle will not be served during parade).

Route 404:
 from Westside to Oranmore, services will operate from Upper Newcastle to a temporary city centre terminus on Bóthar Brendain ÚI Eithir Rd (Lower Newcastle, University Rd, Francis St and Eyre Square will not be served during parade).

Route 404: 
The 15:10 and 15:40 services from Oranmore will not serve Oranmore Village due to the parade in Oranmore

Route 405:
 from Gort na Bro to Ballybane Ind Est, services will operate from Seamus Quirke Rd to a temporary city centre terminus on Bóthar Brendain ÚI Eithir Rd ) Lower Newcastle, University Rd, Francis St, Eyre Square, Prospect Hill and Bohermore will not be served during parade).

Route 405:
 from Ballybane Ind Est to Gort na Bro, services will operate from Bohermore to temporary city centre terminus on Bóthar Brendain ÚI Eithir Rd (Eyre Square, Francis St, University Rd and Lower Newcastle will not be served during parade)

Route 407:
 from Eyre Square to Bothar an Choiste, services will operate from a temporary city centre terminus on Bóthar Brendain ÚI Eithir Rd to Headford Rd/Opp Dunnes Stores (Eyre Square, Francis St, Woodquay and Galway Retail Pk will not be served during parade).

Route 407:
 from Bothar an Choiste to Eyre Square, services will operate from Headford Rd/Dunnes Stores to a temporary city centre terminus on Bóthar Brendain ÚI Eithir Rd (Galway Shopping Centre, Woodquay, Francis St and Eyre Square will not be served during parade).

Route 409:
 from Eyre Square to Parkmore, services will operate from a temporary city centre terminus on Fairgreen Rd (Eyre Square and Bóthar Brendain ÚI Eithir Rd will not be served during parade).

Route 409:
 from Parkmore  to Eyre Square, services will operate from Dublin Rd to a temporary city centre terminus on Fairgreen Rd (College Rd, Forsters St and Eyre Square will not be served during parade).

Route 419:
 from Galway to Clifden / Oughterard, 11:00 and 13:00 services from Galway operates from Ceannt Station to Bushy Pk (Francis St, University Rd and Lower/Upper Newcastle will not be served during parade).  13:00 service terminates at Oughterard Cemetery due to road closures to facilitate the Oughterard Parade.

Route 419:
 from Clifden / Oughterard to Galway, 10:00 from Clifden operates from Bushy Pk to Ceannt Station - Lower Newcastle, University Rd and Francis St will not be served during parade.


Route 51
09:25 Galway to Cork - cancelled.

ROADWORKS – KILLEENS - Monday 02/02/2026 for 12 weeks approx.

The road will be opened as normal on weekends from 19:00 Fridays until 07:00 on Mondays
Customers are advised that due to roadworks in Killeens the 215 service will operate the following diversion:
Towards Blarney: Passengers are advised to use Gateway stop 213541 by Northpoint.
Towards Cork: Passengers who usually use the Gateway stop will need to use Mallow Rd Junction stop 213551 on the New Mallow Rd.

Inbound stops 213531 213541will not be served
Out bound stops 213281 213291 will not be served

🔹Route 261🔹

Due to roadworks in Ballinacurra, stops 23991 & 237511 will be closed from Wednesday 11th March for approx. 8 weeks.

Stops at Mount Pleasant (244961) & Ballinacurra(244941) can be accessed by passenger.
🔹Routes 237 & 239🔹

ROAD CLOSURE / Market Street, St Patrick’s Place, Bandon.

07:00 Monday 16th of February 2026 until Monday the 16th of March 2026

Passengers traveling on the 237 and 239 from Cork via Innishannon or boarding these services heading west will be accommodated at a temporary stop on Glasslyn Rd by the County Council Offices by Station Rd by Aldi.
Services operating towards Cork will operate as normal. The 236 service is unaffected.
