Road Closure affecting Cork Routes 237 & 239

Cork County Council have advised that St. Finbarr’s Place, Bandon, between Glasslynn Road and South Main Street will be closed to traffic from 7am on Thursday, 12 November to 8pm on Friday, 27 November 2020.

As a result Route 237 Westbound will operate as per normal to Glasslynn Road, Bandon and then at the junction with St. Finbarr’s Place, turn right, then left to North Main Street. Services will then continue ahead on Dunmanway Road (R586), taking left at junction to Baxter’s Bridge and then operate via Baxter’s Bridge to junction with N71, turning right and normal Route thereafter.

Route 239 serving Timoleague/Butlerstown outbound will operate as per normal to Glasslynn Road, Bandon and then turn right to St. Finbarr’s Place, left to North Main Street, taking right to Kilbrogan Hill, turn left at Copper Grove Bar, left onto R586, returning to Glasslynn Road via bypass (N71) to R603 and normal route thereafter.

Inbound services will operate diversion Routes in reverse order.
