Road Closure affecting Cork Routes 236 & 239

We have been advised that there will be no access to North Main Street until 19:00 on Friday, 27 September 2019. This is to facilitate pipeline, road and footpath construction.

Route 236 services from West Cork will operate as normal as far as Baxters Bridge, turning right and continue onto the N71. Turn left and operate via Old Chapel to Glasslinn Road, Bandon and normal route thereafter.

Route 236 services to West Cork will operate as normal to Glasslinn Road, Bandon. Then turn right at St. Finbarr’s Place, onto Patricks Quay and on to Old Chapel. Continue on the N71, then turn right after Bandon Civic Amenity Site (sign for Enniskeane) to Baxters Bridge and then left onto Dunmanway Road and normal route thereafter.

Route 239 services from Cork to Bandon via Crossbarry will operate as normal to Kilbrogan Hill and at Emmet Row turn right on the R586 Dunmanway Road, turning left at Baxters Bridge and continue onto the N71. Turn left and operate via Old Chapel to Glasslinn Road, Bandon and normal route thereafter.

Route 239 services from Bandon to Cork via Crossbarry will operate as normal from Glasslinn Road, Bandon. Then turn right at St. Finbarr’s Place, onto Patricks Quay and on to Old Chapel. Continue on the N71 then turn right after Bandon Civic Amenity Site (sign for Enniskeane) to Baxters Bridge and then turn right to Bandon and left at Emmet Row, Kilbrogan Hill and normal route thereafter.

Route 239 services from Cork to Bandon via Innishannon and Bandon to Cork via Innishannon are unaffected by this diversion.
