Service updates

Please note the following service disruption in the western and northwestern region on Tuesday, 28th July 2026.

Route 64
Due to Mayo G.A.A. homecoming in Ballyhaunis, a diversion is in place from 10:00am to 10:00pm. Ballyhaunis: Supermacs Main St. will not be served. Passengers are asked to make their way to the Firestation on the Clare Road to board and alight.
14:00 Sligo to Galway - delayed by 30 minutes.
16:00 Sligo to Galway - delayed by 45 minutes.


Route 306
Due to roadworks on Shelbourne Road, the Sarsfield Bridge, Union Cross and Shelbourne Road stops can not be served today. The bus will divert via Clancy Strand and Sexton Street North before continuing the route as normal.


Route 401
Due to the Galway Races, services on Route 401 will terminate at Ballybane Cottages (523381) and commence opposite the Clayton Hotel (523461) between 15:30 - 17:30.


Route 409
Due to the Galway Races, services on Route 409 will terminate and commence in Doughiska at Briarhill Shopping Centre (stops 524241 & 524261) between 15:30 - 17:30.
Furthermore, this evening, services on Route 409 will terminate and commence at the Galway Tech Park stops 
555431 & 635561) from 20:20 to 22.20


Route 440
Due to Mayo G.A.A. homecoming in Ballyhaunis, a diversion is in place from 10:00am to 10:00pm.. Ballyhaunis: Supermacs Main St. will not be served. Passengers are asked to make their way to the Firestation on the Clare Road to board and alight.


Route 450
16:45 Dooagh to Louisburgh is running approximately 45 minutes late.
Due to roadworks in Dooniver, the bus will divert along the L1406 and not serve Dooniver (553161) until further notice.


Route 494 
13:40 Strabane to Letterkenny - delayed by 40 minutes.


Routes S1, S2, S3 & 458
Due to campus roadworks on Tuesday 28th July to Thursday 30th July, the stops in A.T.U. Sligo will not be served. (524881 & 524901).
