Please note the following disruption to our services in the South region on Thursday 9th April 2026:

Route 220:

00.25 ex Ovens(00.52 Sth Mall) to Carrigaline is currently delayed on the Mardyke due to a RTA. Road is currently Blocked. UPDATE: Relief bus going to start at Grand Parade to Carrigaline in 10 minutes.

01:30 ex Fernlea to Ovens is running late due to said RTA, relief bus en route.


Until the road is re opened, the 220 from Ovens will operate from Dennehys Cross to College Road and down past St Finbarrs Cathedral to Washington St. Therefore Wilton Road, Victoria Cross and Western Road can not be served. 

 Services to Ovens are not affected.

UPDATE: **Mardyke now reopened, services are returning to normal route**



🚧Roadworks🚧

🔹Route 219 🔹

From the 20th of April 2026, the current 07:00 departure from MTU will cease. The service shall begin at at the new EARLIER time of 06.45.

🔹Route 226🔹

Please be advised that services are unable to stop at Ballinabearna Cross, Riverstick, Belgooly and Bridge View from 08:00Hrs to 18:00Hrs both directions.

To facilitate resurfacing works on the R600 between Riverstick & Belgooly, the R600 will be closed between Fivemilebridge & Pewterhole Cross, from 08.00 Tuesday 07th April until 18:00 Friday 10th April. The road closure will be implemented daily from 08:00 – 18:00 with the road reopening each evening & to remain open overnight. As a result, we will be unable to serve Riverstick or Belgooly between these times. Intending passengers will need to board and alight in Kinsale or Fivemilebridge.


🔹Route 260🔹

Route 260 will be unable to serve Mogeely until 10th April due to roadworks.

🔹Route 261🔹

Due to roadworks in Ballinacurra, stops 23991 & 237511 will be closed from Wednesday 11th March for approx. 8 weeks.
Stops at Mount Pleasant (244961) & Ballinacurra (244941) can be accessed by passenger.
