Please note the following service disruption in the western and northwestern region on Tuesday, 7th April 2026.
Due to slow-moving convoys in various locations as part of the fuel cost protest, there are considerable delays nationwide.
Route 51
07:05 Galway to Cork - delayed by 1 hour.
08:05 Galway to Cork - delayed by 35 minutes.
Route 314
07:45 Limerick to Foynes - delayed by 1 hour due to the protests over the national fuel cost.
09:05 Foynes to Limerick - considerably delayed due to fuel cost protests.
Route 343
08:20 Limerick to Shannon - cancelled.
09:40 Shannon to Limerick - cancelled.
Route 401
Road closures will take place on the Castlepark Rd. on until April 24th, from Monday to Friday, 09:30 to 16:00. Services on Route 401 will be unable to serve Glenavon Drive, Gortcam, Ard Álainn, Ballybane N.V. and Clareview Park. A temporary bus stop will be located near Windsor Motors.
Routes 458 & 64
Due to a national fuel cost protest, the dual carriageway at Ballisodare, Sligo is currently blocked. All departures and arrivals to Sligo Bus Station will be considerably delayed by an hour or more.
Bus Éireann wish to apologise to passengers for any inconvenience.
