Updates for Bus Eireann routes southern region for Wednesday 27/08/2025.

ROUTE 243
ROAD CLOSURE: L2768 RATHDUFF TO GRENAGH
Until furture Notice
FROM 08:00HRS TO 18:00HRS DAILY

Cork County Council have advised that a road closure will be in place on L2768 Rathduff to Grenagh from junction with  N20, New Mallow Road, to junction with Grenagh Village.

As a result, Route 243 outbound should operate as per normal route on Old Mallow Road to junction with N20 at Sluggera Cross.  At Sluggera Cross turn left to New Mallow Road (N20) and ahead to junction with L2771.  Turn right to L2771 and continue head to junction with L2772 at Quarry Hall Cross.   Turn right to L2772 (Grenagh South).  Continue to Grenagh Village, turn left at junction with L2768 (at Church) and as per normal route.

Inbound services should operate the above diversion route in reverse order.


Routes 31, 214, & 245.

Please be advised that roadworks in Glanmire have been completed and all 31, 214 and 245 services will operate normal route from  Monday 25.08.2025.
