Service Disruption for the South Region for Friday 22nd August 2025:

Route 40 

19:00 Cork to Tralee will operate approximately 35 minutes late.

Route 207A

All services on route 207A will not operate from 18:30 to 21:30, the service will be back to normal after 21:30 this evening. 


Route 40-236-237-239 roadworks:

Customers are advised that due to roadworks at Bandon Road Roundabout, West Cork services and Route 40 Cork/Tralee will operate on diversion routes via Sarsfield Road and N40, between 20:30hrs and 06:00hrs each night, from Thursday, 21st August, to Friday, 29th August, inclusive.

Please note that the following routes will not serve Curraheen Road; Bishopstown Road while the diversion is in place.  

•Route 40  :  20:30 Cork/Tralee
•Route 237:  21:00 Cork/Skibbereen
•Route 236:  18:00 Goleen/Cork
•Route 239:  22:45 Cork/Bandon

Services can be accessed at bus stops on Sarsfield Road while diversions are in place.


Route 214 & 216 Bus Stop Closure:

CLARKE’S BRIDGE - REOPENING
21:00hrs FRIDAY, 22nd August, 2025

Cork City Council have advised that Clarke’s Bridge will re-open to traffic at 21:00hrs on Friday, 22nd August, 2025, and Routes 214 & 216 should revert to normal route from that time.
