Not only is the Expressway Route 22 service one of the fastest and convenient ways of travelling between Dublin and Ballina, it also offers very competitive fares. Six services leave in either direction from Monday to Saturday with seven services on Sundays and Public Holidays.
Departing from the Busáras Bus Station in Dublin's city centre, and with three services per day also leaving from Dublin Airport, the Expressway Route 22 service travels via the M4 motorway to Ballina in County Mayo and back. It passes through Maynooth, Mullingar, Longford and Charlestown en route, arriving in Ballina, County Mayo at the Ballina Bus Station on Kevin Barry Street.
