Improved Timetables for Route 2, from 2 March 2025

Expressway's Route 2 updated schedule has been designed to provide more frequent and punctual travel for all Route 2 customers.


  • 102 weekly services in each direction connecting Wexford to Dublin/Dublin Airport
  • St. Vincents Hospital (Nutley Lane) stop now served on all Route 2 services
  • Revised departure times in Arklow, Gorey and Enniscorthy to improve punctuality

Expressway, Bus Éireann’s premium coach service, is pleased to announce an improved timetable for its Route 2 service, which will come into effect on 2 March 2025. The updated schedule has been designed to provide more frequent and punctual travel for all Route 2 customers.

Passengers will see significant benefits, as the improved schedule will better reflect traffic conditions, ensuring more consistent arrival and departure times. All trips will now operate via St. Vincent's Hospital (Nutley Lane) while providing the same consistent travel pattern for customers.

The Independent Travel Support (ITS) service assists passengers over 18 with additional needs to use public transport with independence. As part of the service, an ITS assistant travels with the passenger and trains them how to travel independently, until they are confident to travel alone.
