Bus Éireann partner with Achill Tourism on Route 450, Westport to Achill Sound

Bus Éireann, Ireland’s national bus company, has partnered with Achill Tourism to encourage passengers to travel by bus while visiting the scenic locations featured in the Oscar nominated film, The Banshees of Inisherin.

Bus Éireann’s Route 450 Westport to Achill Sound offers seven daily weekday services and six daily weekend services to Achill Island, including two early morning services arriving in Achill before 9:00 and later evening services departing Achill Island at 16.45 and 19.20.

Return tickets from Westport to Achill Sound cost just €14.70 for an Adult and € 7.36 for a Student/Young Adult using a Leap Card or the TFI Go app.

We encourage our customers to download the TFI Go app to avail of these great value fares”.

The TFI Go app allows you to buy tickets directly from your phone, your ticket is downloaded to the app and can be used to travel straight away. There is no need for printing, just activate before each journey and show your driver while boarding.
