The project was successful in the Sustainable Project: Transport award category as well as winning the overall top Grand Prix award competing against other category winners such as An Post and Bank of America. Bus Éireann achieves 470,000 emission-free kilometres in 2022,

Investments by the National Transport Authority in new zero and low-emission vehicles and a return to pre-pandemic passenger numbers has seen 470,000 emission-free kilometres delivered by Bus Éireann in 2022, according to the company’s second Annual Sustainability Report. The Annual Sustainability Report 2022, published today, outlines the progress made by Ireland’s national bus company towards meeting the ambitious targets set out in its 2021 Sustainability Strategy.
