New Galway City Services effective 4 March 2012
Following a review of public transport services in Galway undertaken by the National Transport Authority, Bus Éireann is pleased to announce a revised Galway City bus network to provide customers with an improved level of service including more frequent services, increased reliability, clearer timetables, and a simplified network. The changes, which have been approved by the National Transport Authority, will come into effect from Sunday, 4 March 2012.
The changes will also see a revised list of route numbers for Galway city services to facilitate the rollout of Real Time Passenger Information Displays. This will involve all city routes moving to a standard 3 digit format.
