Get direct to the Picnic on board Bus Éireann

Special services from Dublin, Cork & Galway

The countdown to Electric Picnic is on and Bus Éireann’s special direct services means the festival fun can start hassle free.
Ireland’s largest music and Arts events kicks off this Friday, September 1 and Bus Éireann services are running from Dublin, Cork and Galway, direct to the Stradbally venue.

Dublin

The first services depart Custom House Quay, Dublin on Friday, 1 September at 07.30 every 30 minutes until 18.00.
On Saturday, 2 September and Sunday, 3 September, there will be hourly departures to Stradbally between 10.00 and 13.00.

There are a limited number of early bird tickets available to buy online at www.buseireann.ie for €20 return.
Standard tickets are €25 return and can be purchased at Custom House Quay, or online.

Return services to Custom House Quay on Saturday, 2 September depart from Stradbally hourly between 23.00 and 01.00.
Return services on Sunday night depart the coach park at Electric Picnic every half hour from 20.30 until 02.00. 

There will also be an afternoon service departing Electric Picnic Coach park at midday on Sunday, 3 September 2017.
On Monday morning, 4 September 2017, return services from Electric Picnic will depart from the Electric Picnic coach park every half hour from 05.00 until 13.30.

Early bird tickets from Dublin to Electric Picnic will no longer be available online from Thursday, 31 August at 16.00.
A limited amount of tickets will be available to purchase from the "ticket bus" which will be parked at Custom House Quay.

Cork

Special buses will depart from Parnell Place bus station, Cork at 08.00 on Friday, 1 September next and these will service Fermoy (08.35), Mitchelstown (08.50), Cahir (09.20) and Cashel (09.40). This service is scheduled to reach Stradbally at 10.25. 

The return service will depart from Stradbally via Cashel, Cahir, Mitchelstown and Fermoy at 12.00 on Monday, 4 September arriving in Parnell Place, Cork at 14.25.
Return tickets cost €40 and must be purchased in advance from Parnell Place bus station.  A limited number of seats are available.

Galway

A third service will operate from Galway to Stradbally to facilitate festival-goers from the west.
This will depart from Galway bus station in Eyre Square at 12.00 on Friday, 1 September and is scheduled to arrive in Stradbally at 15.00.

A return service to Galway will depart from the coach park at 10.00 on Monday, 4 September and will arrive back to Galway at 13.00.  Tickets must be purchased in advance from Galway bus station, and there are a limited number of seats available.

Sustainable travel partners

Sustainability is very much part of the ethos of Electric Picnic and Bus Éireann are one of the official bus partners, minimising travel impact to the festival.
Customers will also be dropped at a very accessible point, from which they can enter the festival site, without having to worry about car parking and carrying camping gear from these.
