Disruption to Limerick City Routes 302, 304 and 306 & Routes 305A and 345 - UPDATE

Bus Éireann has been advised, from Tuesday, 7 February 2023, Heavy Good Vehicles will be prohibited from turning right from Sarsfield Street to O’Connell Street for a period of three weeks.

For the duration of these works and restrictions, the following alterations to our schedule will apply:

  • Route 302 will continue straight onto O’Callaghan Strand, left onto Shannon Bridge and left onto Henry St.  Passengers will alight and board at the bus stop on Henry St.  Sarsfield St will not be served as a result.
  • Route 304 will turn left from Roches St to O’Connell St.  Temporary city centre bus stop location at HLB Accountants on O’Connell St.  Sarsfield St will not be served as a result.
  • Route 306 will turn left onto Liddy St and continue via Arthurs Quay to the right turn onto Patricks St before continuing to O’Connell St.  Temporary city centre bus stop location on Liddy St. & Sarsfield St will not be served as a result.

In addition, Routes 305A and 345 will be subject to diversion from 22 February 2023, as turning left from O'Connell Street to William Street will not be possible.

The agreed diversions will allow route 305A to serve William St, with route 345 to access Colbert Station.
