Alterations to services to/from Dublin this weekend due to the Papal Visit

We wish to advise our customers of the following alterations and diversions to our services on Saturday, 25 August and Sunday, 26 August 2018 due to the Papal Visit.

Saturday, 25 August 2018

On Saturday, 25 August 2018, there will be several road closures in Dublin City between 13.00 and 18.00 including Dublin City North Quays & South Quays, Dame Street, O'Connell Street and Church Street.

The following services will be affected

Expressway

Routes 4, X4, X8, X12, 20, X20, 22, 23, 30, X30 and 32 from Dublin will commence from Busáras and operate via the North Quays, Port Tunnel, M1/M50 and connect with normal route.

Routes 4, X4, X8, X12, 20, X20, 22, 23, 30, X30 and 32 to Dublin will operate as normal as far as the M50 and take the M50 and M1 to Port Tunnel. Upon exiting the Port Tunnel, services will operate via the North Quays, Memorial Bridge, Georges Quay, Butt Bridge and then to Busáras for drop off’s & Pickups.

Note: These diversion are in place in Dublin City from 13:00 until 18:00.

Route NX: Navan – Dublin

Route NX departures from Navan between 12.00 and 17.00 will operate as normal as far as Phibsboro then Whitworth Road, Dorset Street, Gardiner Street, Memorial Bridge and normal route thereafter.

Normal Services will resume from 17.20

Route 100X: Dundalk - Drogheda - Airport - City Centre - Wilton Terrace

All services between 11:30 and 16:30 will operate normal route until Opposite Hilton Garden Inn on Custom House Quay and will then operate via the Matt Talbot Memorial Bridge, City Quay, Lombard Street East, Westland Row, Merrion Square North and continue to Fitzwilliam Street Lower before terminating at Wilton Terrace. Services resume normal routing from 17:30 from Dundalk.

Note: There is no change to routing from Wilton Terrace to Dundalk

Route 103: Tayto Park - Ratoath - Ashbourne - Dublin

Route 103 departures from Ratoath between 12.02 and 17.02 will operate as normal as far as Dublin (Glasnevin) and continue towards Phibsboro via Botanic Road, Whitworth Road, Dorset Street, Gardiner Street, Memorial Bridge, Georges Quay, Butt Bridge and then drop-off at Beresford Place.

Note: There is no changes to the route 103 from Dublin.

Route 109 Kells - Navan - Dunshaughlin - Dublin

The 11:10, 12:10, 13:10, 14:10, 15:10 and 16:10 departures from Kells will operate as normal as far as Phibsboro (Opp St Peters Church) and the will continue along the North Circular Road past Mater hospital and turn right onto Dorset Street and will then operate to Busáras via Gardiner Street.

This diversion will also affect the 12:25, 14:25 & 16:25 departures from Dunshaughlin

Note: There is no changes to the route 109 from Dublin to Kells & Dunshaughlin.

Route 109B: Trim - Kilmessan - Dunshaughlin - Dublin

Services between 12:50 and 15:50 from Trim will operate as normal as far as Phibsboro (Opp St Peters Church) and the will continue along the North Circular Road past Mater hospital and turn right onto Dorset Street and will then operate to Busáras via Gardiner Street. Normal Services resume at 16.50

Route 109X: Cavan - Kells - Dublin

The 10:45, 11:45, 12:45, 13:45, 14:45 and 15:45 departures from Cavan will operate as normal as far as Dublin (Glasnevin) and continue towards Phibsboro via Botanic Road, Whitworth Road, continue to Dorset Street, turning left onto Gardiner Street and into Busáras.

Note: There is no changes to the route 109X from Dublin.

Route 111: Trim - Athboy - Batterstown - Dublin

The 11:45, 12:45, 13:45 (13:30 from Delvin), 14:45, 15:45 and 16:45 departures from Trim will operate as normal as far as Phibsboro (Opp St Peters Church) and the will continue along the North Circular Road past Mater hospital and turn right onto Dorset Street and will then operate to Busáras via Gardiner Street.

Normal services resume at 17.45

Note: There is no changes to the route 111 from Dublin

Route 115: Mullingar - Enfield - Kilcock - Dublin

The 11:40, 13:40 and 16:10 from Mullingar will operate as normal as far as Liffey Valley (Opp Shopping Centre), and will then operate via the M50, M1 to Port Tunnel, Sherriff Street Upper (by the 3 Arena), Seville Place and then Amiens street to drop off & pick up at Connolly Station.

Route 115: Dublin - Kilcock - Enfield - Mullingar

The 13:55, 15:55 and 17:35 departures from Dublin will commence from Connolly Station and will operate via the North Quays, Port tunnel, M1/M50 until Liffey Valley exit and resume normal route.

Route 115A: Enfield/Summerhill - Kilcock - Dublin

The 11:50, 13:50 and 15:50 departures from Enfield will operate as normal as far as Liffey Valley (Opp Shopping Centre), and will then operate via the M50, M1 to Port Tunnel, Sherriff Street Upper (by the 3 Arena), Seville Place and then Amiens street to drop off & pick up at Connolly Station.

This alteration will also affect the 16:29 departure from Kilcock (Abbeyfields)

Route 115A: Dublin - Kilcock - Enfield/Summerhill

The 13:25, 14:25, 15:25 and 16:25 departures from Dublin will commence from Connolly Station and will operate via the North Quays, Port tunnel, M1/M50 until Liffey Valley exit and resume normal route.

Route 120: Tullamore - Edenderry - Prosperous - Clane - Dublin

The 11.30, 12.30, 13.30, 14.30, 15.30 and 16.30 services from Edenderry will operate as normal route until Liffey Valley (Opp Shopping Centre) and will then operate via the M50/M1 to the Port Tunnel and then via Sherrif Street Upper (3 Arena), Seville Place and then Amiens Street to drop off & pick up at Connolly Station.

Normal route will resume from the 19:30 service from Edenderry.

Route 120: Dublin - Clane - Prosperous - Edenderry - Tullamore

Services between 13.30 and 18.00 will pick up from Connolly Station and operate via then North Quays, Port tunnel, M1/M50 until Liffey Valley exit and then resume normal route. Normal route will resume from the 18:30.

Route 126: Kildare - Newbridge - Naas - Dublin

The 11:15, 12:00, 12:45, 13:45, 14:45 and 15:45 departures from Kildare will operate as normal as far as Newlands Cross and will then operate via the M50 and M1 to the Port Tunnel and will then operate via Sherriff Street Upper (by the 3 Arena) then Seville Place and Amiens Street to drop off & pick up at Connolly Station.

This diversion will also affect the 16:20 departure from Newbridge Normal services resume at 17.35

Route 126: Dublin - Naas - Newbridge - Kildare

The 13:30, 14:15, 14:30, 15:15, 16:30, 17:10 and 18:00 departures from Dublin will commence from Connolly Station and will operate via the North Quays, Port tunnel, M1/M50 until Red Cow exit (N7) and resume normal routing.

Route 130: Dublin - Kilcullen - Athy

The 17:55 departure from Dublin will commence pick up from Connolly Station and will operate via the North Quays, Port tunnel, M1/M50 until Red Cow exit (N7) and then resume normal route.

Note: The 130 into Dublin is not affected by the diversions.

Route 132: Bunclody - Kildavin - Ballon - Tullow - Baltinglass - Dublin

The 07:50 departure from Bunclody and the 14:40 departure from Tullow will operate the normal route until Tallaght Hospital and then operate via the M50 and M1 to the Port Tunnel. After the Port Tunnel, services will operate via Sherrif Street Upper (at Yahoo, behind the 3 Arena) and then Seville Place, Amiens Street, dropping off & picking up at Connolly Station.

Route 132: Dublin - Baltinglass - Tullow - Ballon - Kildavin - Bunclody

The 12:30 & 17:30 departures from Dublin will commence from Connolly Station and operate via the North Quays, Port tunnel, M1/M50 until Ballymount Exit 10 and resume normal route.

Route 133: Dublin Airport - City Centre - Ashford - Wicklow

The 12:40, 13:40, 14:40, 15:40, 16:30, 16:45 and 17:30 departures from Dublin Airport will operate as normal to Custom House Quay (Opposite Hilton Garden Inn Stop) and will then operate via the Matt Talbot Memorial Bridge, City Quay, Lombard Street East, Westland Row and then resume normal route from Westland Row Church stop.

Note: Route 133 from Wicklow to Dublin Airport is not affected by diversions, Please operate route as normal.

On Sunday, 26 August 2018 from 06:00 until 21:00 there will be no access to any road between O’Connell Street in Dublin and the Phoenix Park due to the World Meeting of Families 2018 taking place in the Phoenix Park. As a result the following alterations and diversions will apply

Expressway

Routes 4, X4, X8, X12, 20, X20, 22, 23, 30, X30 and 32 from Dublin will commence from Busáras and operate via the North Quays, the Port Tunnel, M1/M50 and connect with normal route.

Routes 4, X4, X8, X12, 20, X20, 22, 23, 30, X30 and 32 to Dublin will operate as normal as far as the M50 and then take the M50 and M1 to the Port Tunnel. Upon exiting the Port tunnel services will then operate via the North Quays, Memorial Bridge, Georges Quay, Butt Bridge and then on to Busáras for drop off’s & Pickups.

Note: There are no changes to routes; X1, 2, X2A

Route 109: Kells - Navan - Dunshaughlin - Dublin

Services from Kells will operate as normal to the Blanchardstown slip (there is no access to Navan Road). Services will then operate via the Port Tunnel Via M50, North Quays, Memorial Bridge, Georges Quay, Butt Bridge and then drop off/ terminate on Custom House Quay

Normal departures will resume at 20:10 from Kells and 20:25 from Dunshaughlin.

Route 109: Dublin - Dunshaughlin - Navan - Kells

Services will commence from Custom House Quay and will operate via North Quays, Port Tunnel, M50 to Blanchardstown exit and then operate normal route.

Normal services will resume from the 20:45 service from Dublin (Busáras)

Route 109B: Trim - Kilmessan - Dunshaughlin – Dublin

All services will operate as per normal route until the Blanchardstown slip road (there is no access to Navan Road). Services will be rerouted through Port Tunnel Via M50, North Quays, onto Memorial Bridge, then Georges Quay, Butt Bridge and turn right to drop off/ terminate on Custom House Quay. This diversion will be in place for all departures from Trim.

Route 109B: Dublin - Dunshaughlin - Kilmessan - Trim

All services will commence from Custom House Quay and will operate via North Quays, Port Tunnel and M50 to the Blanchardstown exit and then operate normal route. This diversion will be in place for all departures from Dublin.

Route 109X: Cavan - Kells - Dublin

Services will operate as normal to the Blanchardstown slip (there is no access to Navan Road). Services will then operate via the Port Tunnel Via M50, North Quays, Memorial Bridge, Georges Quay, Butt Bridge and then drop off/ terminate on Custom House Quay.

NOTE: Normal services will resume from the 19:45 service from Cavan.

Route 109X: Dublin - Kells - Cavan

Services will operate from Custom House Quay (pickup) and operate via North Quays, Port Tunnel, M50 to Blanchardstown exit and operate normal route.

NOTE: Normal services will resume from the 21:15 service from Dublin.

Route 111: Trim - Athboy - Batterstown - Dublin

Normal route until Blanchardstown slip (there is no access to Navan Road) Service rerouted through Port Tunnel Via M50, North Quays, Left onto Memorial Bridge, Right onto Georges Quay, Right onto Butt Bridge and turn right to drop off/ terminate on Custom House Quay.

NOTE: Normal routing will resume from the 19:15 service from Athboy.

Route 111: Dublin - Batterstown - Athboy – Trim

All services will commence from Custom House Quay and will operate via the North Quays, Port Tunnel, M50 to Blanchardstown exit and then operate normal route thereafter.

NOTE: Normal Services will resume from the 21:15 service from Dublin.

Route 115: Mullingar - Enfield - Kilcock - Dublin

Services will operate as normal as far as Liffey Valley (Opp Shopping Centre), and will then operate via the M50, M1 to Port Tunnel, Sherriff Street Upper (by the 3 Arena), Seville Place and then Amiens street to drop off & pick up at Connolly Station.

Normal services will resume from the 21:40 service from Mullingar.

Route 115: Dublin - Kilcock - Enfield - Mullingar

Departures from Dublin will commence from Connolly Station and will operate via the North Quays, Port tunnel, M1/M50 until Liffey Valley exit and resume normal route.

Normal services will resume from the 23:15 service from Dublin (Busáras)

Route 115A: Enfield/Summerhill - Kilcock - Dublin

Services from Enfield will operate as normal as far as Liffey Valley (Opp Shopping Centre), and will then operate via the M50, M1 to Port Tunnel, Sherriff Street Upper (by the 3 Arena), Seville Place and then Amiens street to drop off & pick up at Connolly Station.
