Diversions in Cork due to Royal Visit on Thursday, 14 June 2018

We wish to notify passengers of the following diversions in Cork on Thursday, 14 June 2018, due to the royal visit of Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall, Camilla.

Services will operate as follows

Park 'n' Ride Service
Lapp's Quay Bus Stop will close all day Thursday, 14 June.  Therefore, the Park and Ride service will operate to and from Eglinton Street for the duration of the closure.

Route 202: North bound to Apple – Services are unaffected

Route 202 South bound to Mahon Point – Services are unaffected

Route 203 South bound to Manor Farm
Services will operate normal route to Merchants Quay from Farranree, use Route 202 bus stop on Merchants Quay as terminus, then via Bus Station, Albert Quay Old Station rd, Anglesea St and normal route thereafter. (temporary bus stop opposite Market Tavern)

Route 203 North bound to Farranree
Services will operate as far as South terrace right on to Cotter St., Copley St., Old Station Rd, Eglinton St., Terence McSwiney Quay to Merchants Quay
(Effective from 09:30 to 11:30)

Route 205 C.I.T to Kent Station
Service will operate as normal as far as Mardyke, then turn left on to Woods St. and follow the quays to Patrick’s Bridge, Bridge St., and normal route thereafter

Route 205 Kent Station to C.I.T
Service will operate normal route to Merchants Quay, then operate via Lavitts Quay, Grattan St, turn right at Courthouse and normal route thereafter

Route 206 to Grange
Service will operate to/ from Market Tavern via cotter St and Copley St. (temporary bus stop opposite Market Tavern)

Route 207 North bound to Ballyvolane
Service will operate normal route to South Terrace then operate via Cotter St, Copley St., Old Station Rd Eglinton St, P.Place, to Merchants Quay and normal route thereafter (temporary bus stop on Bridge St)

Route 207 South Bound to Donnybrook
Service will operate as normal to bus station then, Clontarf Bridge, left onto Albert Quay, right at Sextant bar, Old Station Rd., left onto Anglesea St and normal route thereafter. (Temporary bus stop opposite Market Tavern)

Route 207A – unaffected

Route 208 Northbound to Ashmount
Service will operate as normal as far as Mardyke St., left to Woods St. continue via Quays to Patricks Bridge, turn left on to Bridge St, normal route thereafter normal route thereafter (temporary bus stop on Bridge St)

Route 208 Southbound to Marymount
Service will operate as normal to Merchants Quay then operate via Lavitts Quay, Grattan St, right at Courthouse, and normal route thereafter.

Route 214 to CUH
Service will operate via North Main St. for the duration of closure

Route 215 Blarney to Mahon Point
Service will operate as normal to the bus Station, then operate via Clontarf Bridge, Albert Quay, Old Station Rd., left onto Anglesea St and normal route thereafter. (Temporary bus stop opposite Market Tavern)

Route 215 Mahon Point to Blarney
Service will operate as normal as far as South Terrace then operate via Cotter St, Copley St, Old Station Rd Eglinton St, Terence McSwiney Quay to Parnell Place and normal route thereafter.

Route 216 Mount Oval To CUH
Service will operate as normal as far as Georges Quay then operate via Sullivan’s Quay to St Finbarr’s Cathedral and normal route thereafter.

Route 216 CUH to Mount Oval
Service will operate normal route as far as St. Marys of the Isle, turn left onto Wandesford Quay, St Finbarr’s Bridge, Western Rd, Mardyke, Woods St by Mercy hospital, follow Quays to Parnell Place, then operate via Clontarf Bridge, Albert Quay, Old Station Rd, Anglesea St. and normal route thereafter. (Temporary bus stop opposite Market Tavern)

Route 220 Ballincollig to Carrigaline / Crosshaven / Fountainstown
Service will operate normal route as far as the Mardyke, turn left onto Woods St. by Mercy Hospital, follow the Quays to Merchants Quay via Bus Station, Clontarf Bridge, Albert Quay, Old Station Rd, Anglesea St and normal service thereafter.

Route 220 Carrigaline to Ballincollig
Service will operate normal route as far as South Terrace, Georges Quay, Sullivan’s Quay, Wandesford Quay, St Finbarr’s Bridge, Western Rd and normal route thereafter.

Route 220 X Fountainstown / Crosshaven to Ballincollig
Service will operate normal route to South Terrace, Georges Quay, Sullivan’s Quay, Wandesford Quay, St Finbarr’s Bridge, Western Rd and normal route thereafter.

Route 223 Cork Ringaskiddy / Haulbowline
No service to Haulbowline for duration of visit Service will operate normal route as far as South Terrace, Cotter St, Copley St, (Temporary bus stop opposite Market Tavern)

Route 226A Airport Services
Service will operate as normal from Airport to South Terrace, then operate via Cotter St, Copley St, Old Station Rd, Eglinton St to P Place, and Kent Station.

Route 226 Kinsale service
Service will operate as normal from Kinsale to Eglinton St, Parnell Place to Kent Station.

Route 226A Services from Kent Station
Service will operate as normal from Parnell Place, then operate via Clontarf Bridge, Albert Quay, Old Station Rd, Anglesea St. and normal service thereafter.

Services from West Cork / Macroom and Tralee
Service will operate as normal as far as the Mardyke, left onto Woods St and follow the quays to Bus Station
(Effective from 07:15 to 11:30)

Services to West Cork / Macroom and Tralee
Service will operate via Lavitts Quay, Grattan St, right at Courthouse, and normal route thereafter.
