Cork City Diversions due to the Mark Pollock Run in the Dark 2016

We wish to notify customers in Cork City of alterations to services due to the Mark Pollock Run in the Dark 2016 on Wednesday, 16 November 2016 from 20.00 until 24.00

From Mahon to Knocknaheeny: Services will as normal as far as Merchants Quay.  Then from Merchants Quay via St. Patrick’s Bridge and Camden Quay.

No. 203 Farranree to Ballyphehane: Services will operate via Merchants Quay to Parnell Place. (Terminus Riverside Merchants Quay) then via Brian Boru Street to City Hall and normal route.

No. 203 Ballyphehane to Farranree: Services will operate as normal from Ballyphehane via Copley Street, Old Station Road and Eglington Street to Merchants Quay, St. Patrick’s Bridge, Camden Quay and normal route thereafter.

No. 205 CIT to Kent Station: Services will operate as normal as far as junction with Court House/Washington Street.  There will be no through service to Kent Station for duration of road closure.  Customers wishing to travel to Kent station can travel on Route 226 from the Bus Station.

No. 205 Kent Station to CIT: There will be no through service from Kent station to CIT for duration of service.  Services to CIT will depart from Bus stop on Washington Street.

No. 206 from Grange to South Mall: Services will operate as normal as far as South Terrace. Then via Copley Street, Old Station Road, Eglington Street, Terence McSwiney Quay, to bus stop on Anglesea Street.

No. 206 from South Mall to Grange:  Services will depart from the bus stop on Anglesea Street.

No. 207 from Donnybrook to Ballyvolane: Services will operate as normal as far as South Terrace. Then via Copley Street, Old Station Road, Albert Street, De Valera Bridge, Michael Collins Bridge, Penrose’s Quay and Brian Boru Bridge to Parnell Place and normal route thereafter.

No. 207 from Ballyvolane to Donnybrook: Services will operate as normal via Clontarf Street to Terence McSwiney Quay and normal route thereafter.

No. 208 Bishopstown to Mayfield:  Services from Bishopstown/Curraheen will operate as normal as Sheares Street, then Grattan Street, Bachelors Quay, Lavitts Quay, St. Patrick Bridge, McCurtain Street and normal route thereafter. 

No. 208 Mayfield to Bishopstown:  Services will operate as normal as far as Brian Boru Bridge than continue ahead to Clontarf Street, McSwiney Quay, Anglesea Street, South Terrace, Sullivans Quay, Parliament Bridge, Grand Parade, Washington Street and normal route thereafter.

No. 214 CUH to St. Patrick St:  Services will operate as normal to Clarkes Bridge and then turn left onto Washington Street Terminus.

No. 214 St. Patrick St to CUH:  Buses will depart from Washington Street (Terminus), left onto Donovan’s Road, turning left onto Gillabbey Street, right onto Gregg Road and normal route thereafter.

No. 215 from Cloghroe to Mahon: Services will operate via Merchants Quay (Terminus), Clontarf Street, Terence McSwiney Quay, Anglesea Street and normal route thereafter.

No 215 from Mahon to Cloghroe:  Services will operate as normal as far as South Terrace, Then via Copley Street, Old Station Road, Eglington Street, Parnell Bridge to Bus Station (Bay 14) and normal route thereafter.

No. 216 from CUH to Mount Oval: Services will operate as normal as far Sharman Crawford Street, Clarkes Bridge to Washington Street (Terminus).

There will be no through service to Mount Oval for the duration of the road closure.

No. 216 from Mount Oval to CUH: Services will operate as normal as far as South Terrace. Then via Copley Street, Old Station Road, Eglington Street, Terence McSwiney Quay, to bus stop on Anglesea Street.

There will be no through service to CUH for the duration of the road closure.

Services inbound from Tralee/Macroom/West Cork: Services will operate as normal as far as Sheares Street/Grattan Street junction and then will turn left onto Grattan Street, turning right onto Bachelor’s Quay, along Kyrl’s Quay, Coal Quay, Lavitts Quay and Merchants Quay to Parnell Place Bus Station.

Services outbound from Macroom/West Cork: Services will operate from Bus Station via Clontarf Street, Clontarf Bridge, McSwiney Quay, Anglesea Street, South Terrace, Georges Quay, Sullivan’s Quay, Proby’s Quay, Bishop Street, Sharman Crawford Street to St. Finbarr’s Bridge to Washington Street and normal outbound route thereafter.

Inbound Routes 220 from Ballincollig to Carrigaline: Services will operate via Grattan Street, Bachelors Quay, Lavitts Quay Merchants Quay, Clontarf Street, McSwiney Quay, Anglesea Street (Terminus) & normal route thereafter.

Route 223 from Ringaskiddy: Services will operate as normal as far as South Terrace. Then via Copley Street, Old Station Road, Eglington Street, Terence McSwiney Quay, to bus stop on Anglesea Street.

Route 223 to Ringaskiddy: Services will depart from Anglesea Street

Inbound 226: Services will operate as normal as far as South Terrace, Then via Copley Street, Old Station Road, Albert Street, De Valera Bridge, Michael Collins Bridge, Penrose’s Quay and Brian Boru Bridge to the bus station.
