Road Closure affecting Cork City Routes 207 & 208

Bus Éireann has been advised that Ballyhooly Road will be closed to inbound traffic from the junction of Dillon’s Cross to the junction of St. Luke’s Cross to facilitate roadworks from 05.00 to 11.00 on Sunday, 24 July 2016.

As a result, Routes 207/208 will operate as follows:

Route 207 Inbound will operate as normal as far as the Fox and Hounds.  Services will then turn right at O’Callaghan’s Garage onto the North Ring Road, the North City Link Road and proceed ahead to junction with Camden Quay, turning left onto Camden Quay, to St. Patrick Bridge, St. Patrick Street and normal route thereafter.

Route 208 Inbound will operate from terminus via Old Youghal Road, turning left to Colmcille Avenue i.e. before Library, proceeding along Iona Park, via Mayfield Garda Station, Silversprings Lane, North Ring Road, Lower Glanmire Road, Water Street, Horgan’s Quay, Penrose Rose Quay, Brian Boru Bridge and normal route thereafter.

Customers who wish to travel on Inbound 207 & 208 services may board/alight on North Ring Road.

Outbound services are not affected.
