Customer Notice – Cork City Routes 203 & 219

Cork City Council have advised that Curragh Road will be closed to traffic from 17.00 to 22.30 approximately to facilitate the holding of UEFA Football Fixture on Thursday, 21 July 2016.

Customers are requested to note the following: 

Diversion Route from 17.00

Route 203 Inbound from Ballyphehane to City Centre will operate as normal as far as junction Pearse Road/Kinsale Road, turning right onto Kinsale Road and operate via Mick Barry Road, left onto South City Link Road, taking slip road towards Turners Cross and turn left at traffic lights and normal inbound route to city centre thereafter.

Route 219 CIT to Mahon will operate as normal as far as junction Pearse Road/Kinsale Road, turning right onto Kinsale Road and operate via Mick Barry Road, left onto South City Link Road, taking slip road towards Turners Cross and turn right at traffic lights and normal route to Mahon thereafter.

Diversion Route from 17.00

Route 203 Outbound from City Centre to Ballyphehane will operate as normal as far as junction Evergreen Road/Curragh Road, proceeding ahead via Half Moon Bridge, taking slip road for South City Link Road towards (Kinsale Road roundabout), returning via Kinsale Road, to junction with Pearse Road and then turing left onto Pearse Road and normal outbound route thereafter.

Route 219 Mahon to CIT will operate as normal along South Douglas Road as far as slip road for South City Link Road, turning left onto slip road for South City Link Road towards (Kinsale Road roundabout), returning via Kinsale Road, to junction with Pearse Road and then turn left onto Pearse Road and normal route thereafter.
