Galway Races Week 2016
Monday, 25 July to Sunday, 31 July 2016
Due to increased traffic volumes and road restrictions as a result of Galway Race Week the following service alterations will be implemented on the following routes:
Route 403: Eyre Square – Parkmore Rd & Route 409: Eyre Square – GMIT – Parkmore Rd
These routes will terminate at the Briarhill Rd Junction and will not serve the stops on Ballybrit Cresent & Parkmore Rd at the following times:
- Monday, 25 July – From 15:00 to 17:00
- Tuesday, 26 July – From 15:00 to 17:00
- Wednesday, 27 July – From 12:30 to 16:00
- Thursday, 28 July – From 11:30 to 15:30
- Friday, 29 July – From 16:00 to 18:00
Route 425/425A: Galway – Mountbellew – Longford
- The 16:25 service from Galway to Longford will be delayed to depart at 18:00 and will operate 95 minutes later throughout its journey on Wednesday, 27 July & Thursday, 28 July.
Route 429: Galway – Tuam – Castlerea
- The 17:45 service from Galway to Castlerea will be delayed to depart at 18:00 and will operate 15 minutes later throughout its journey on Wednesday, 27 July & Thursday, 28 July.
All other routes will continue to operate as normal however may encounter delays due to higher than normal traffic volumes.
