Diversions in Dublin City due to Water Charges Protest, Saturday 18 April 2015

A protest march against the introduction of water charges is due to take place in the City Centre this Saturday, 18 April 2015.

The march will begin assembling at Parnell Square East from approximately 1330 before heading down O'Connell Street from 1400. The march will cross O'Connell Bridge to D’Olier Street turning into Nassau Street and onto Kildare Street.

As a result, the following diversions will take place from 1300 to 1500:

Route 100X
Services from Drogheda /Dundalk will operate via George’s Quay, Butt Bridge, Beresford Place, Memorial Road and Memorial Bridge, Westland Row, Merrion Square North, Merrion Square East, Lesson Street and back on route.

Route 100X
Services to Drogheda/ Dundalk, will operate via Wilton Terrace, Baggot Street and turn right onto Merrion Square East, left at Hollis Street hospital onto Westland Row, Pearse Street, Tara Street and back on route.

Routes 101, 103, 105, 109 & 111
These services will operate via North Circular Road, Dorset Street and Gardiner Street to Busáras/Beresford Place/Talbot Street.

Routes X2 & 133
These services will operate via George’s Quay, Butt Bridge, Beresford Place, Memorial Road and Memorial Bridge, Westland Row, Merrion Square North, Merrion Square East, Lesson Street and back on route

Routes 4, 7, X8, X12, 22 & 23
Services will operate via the M50 to/from Busáras/Dublin Airport

Routes 115, 120 & 126
Services will operate via the M50 to/from Connolly Station
