Cork City Routes 205, 207, 208 and 226 affected by closure of Brian Boru Bridge - expired

Cork City Council has advised that Brian Boru Bridge will be closed to traffic from 2000 hours on Wednesday, 1 October 2014 to 0600 hours on Thursday, 2 October 2014 and from 2200 on Thursday, 2 October 2014 to 0600 hours on Friday, 3 October, 2014.

As a result, services will operate as follows:

Route 207/208 Inbound: Services will operate via Summerhill North, Brian Boru Street, turning right on to St. Patrick’s Quay, turn left onto St. Patricks Bridge to St. Patrick’s Street and normal route thereafter.

Route 205: Services will operate as normal from Kent Station via Water Street, Horgans Quay, left onto Michael Collins Bridge, Eamonn DeValera Bridge, Albert Street, turning right on to Old Station Road, Eglington Street, Albert Quay, Parnell Place to Merchants Quay to St. Patrick Street.

Route 226: Services will operate as normal from Kent Station via Water Street, Horgans Quay, left onto Michael Collins Bridge, Eamonn DeValera Bridge, Albert Street, turning right onto Old Station Road, Eglinton Street, Albert Quay to Parnell Place.
