New timetable Galway/Dublin Airport/Dublin City

Bus Éireann is pleased to announce enhancements to its Galway/Athlone/Dublin Airport/Dublin timetable (routes 20/X20)

From Sunday, 30 March all services on routes 20/X20 will operate via Dublin Airport.

Departures from both Dublin and Galway cities will be at hourly intervals from 0630 to 1830 inclusive and thereafter at 2000 and 2130.

Customers please note that Heuston Station will no longer be serviced by the Galway/Dublin route.

Services on route number X20 will operate non-stop between Dublin Airport and Athlone , then service Ballinasloe and Loughrea en route to Galway.  This fast service will offer journey time of 2 hours 50 minutes between Galway and Dublin Airport.

Services on Route number 20 will continue to serve intermediate locations such as Enfield, Kinnegad, Tyrellspass etc.  In addition, Athlone Institute of Technology (AIT) will be served by this route.

The following routes will also be affected by alterations to Route 20:

• Route 21, Dublin - Athlone - Ireland West Airport Knock - Westport and return
• Route 65, Galway - Athlone - Cavan - Monaghan - Belfast
• Route 70, Galway - Athlone - Mullingar - Dundalk and return
