Journey Times on Donegal-Dublin Airport-Dublin Route Reduced

Bus Éireann has reduced journey times on its Donegal-Cavan-Dublin Airport-Dublin Route 30 Expressway service.

The new timetable for Route 30, which comes into effect on Sunday, 29th of May, 2011, offers customers quicker journey times using the new M3 motorway travelling from Donegal to Cavan to Dublin Airport and Dublin city centre with a choice of nine services every day each way.

The new faster service will especially be welcomed by our customers who travel with Bus Éireann from the South West Donegal area.

The service will bypass towns between Virginia and Dublin Airport. Customers wishing to travel from Donegal and Enniskillen to Kells or Navan should change coach at Cavan and use the 109 service, which operates every hour.

“With our new route 30 service, customers can enjoy the comfort and convenience of travelling by high-quality coaches without the worries of car parking, toll charges and fuel costs,” said Rory Leahy, Regional Manager, North-West, Bus Éireann.

From Dublin City, the Route 30 service operates up to nine times daily departing at 07:00, 09:00, 11:00, 13:00, 15:00, 17:00, 19:00, 22:00, and 00:00.

From Dublin Airport, the daily service departs at 07:20, 09:20, 11:20, 13:20, 15:20, 17:20, 19:20, 22:20 and 00:20.

From Donegal, the Route 30 service operates up to nine times daily at 01:00, 05:00, 07:00, 09:00, 11:00, 13:00, 15:00, 17:00 and 19:00.

The new route 30 timetable was promoted by Bus Éireann staff at the recent Donegal Live event.
