Bus Éireann Increases Service Frequency on Route 111

Bus Éireann is to increase the frequency of services on its Route 111 Cavan-Granard-Athboy-Trim-Dublin from Sunday, 14 November 2010.

The new timetable for Route 111 will see an increase in the number of services operating along the route with, for instance, departures from Granard to Dublin increasing from two to four per day (Monday to Friday). Other changes will see some services now start and terminate at Delvin and better connections between Cavan and Athboy and all villages along the route.

The enhanced Route 111 will also have reduced journey times as it will now operate on the M3 Motorway and will connect with Irish Rail’s Dunboyne (M3) to Dublin commuter rail line at the M3 Parkway P&R facility.

In addition, all services will operate to Blanchardstown Shopping Centre and most services to stops on the south side of the city terminating at Wilton Terrace near Lesson Street. One service a day from Delvin (the 6.55am departure, Monday to Friday) will operate to UCD.
