Service Update 14th Jan

Services around the country are operating as normal with some delays.
In Cork, there are diversions and delays to a small amount of services due to road works. Services in Galway are operating as normal with some delays.
Bus Eireann will continue to monitor this situation closely and we would advise customers to contact their local travel office for information on individual services or visit www.buseireann.ie.

Cork Update 14.15
All services are back to normal service routes
Except for Cork County Council Green Route works at Ballincollig Village resulting In all services inbound to City being rerouted via old fort road where a temporary bus stop will be in place ( Ballincollig village bus stop closed)
Out bound services will operate as normal
Also resurfacing works between O’Leary’s Cross and Fountainstown resulting in the 222 service not operating via French Furze until further notice.
Update at 14.20
Mallow Town Park bus stop is fully operational in both directions for route 51,366 & 242, there were some delays as this area was flooded.
Update at 11.30am
The vast majority of services around the country are operating as normal with some delays.
Services are operating as near normal except for 221 service (Glanmire Riverstown only) Knockraha not served.
Route 208 service to Curraheen Village should be back within the hour.
Route 233 service via Aherla and Cloughduv not served main road only.

In Galway
0940 Castlerea/Galway departing 1 hour late all other services operating but running very late
0905 Galway /cork operating also 805 Galway departing at 0900. Will update if any change
0805 Galway to cork failed to operate 0805 galway to ballina delayed will update later on this service

Route 040 CORK- TRALEE Operating as normal with delays due to conditions
Route 040B CORK-WATERFORDOperating as normal with delays due to conditions
Route 051 CORK-LIMERICK-GALWAYNot operating to Mallow Town Park due to flooding
In Limerick
Icy Road Conditions and Fog in Limerick and surrounding areas. The following buses did not run this morning but all services are now back in operation:
07.25 - Limerick to Cork
07.0 - Limerick to Shannon via Sixmilebridge
07.25 - Scariff to Limerick
07.05 - Galbally to Limerick
07.55 - Caherconlish to Liemrick
06.25 - Cappamore to Limerick.
All services in the Clare area are operating with slight delays.
In Kerry
Services operating as normal but some rural/secondary roads remain in a dangerous condition
The Thursday only services on route 274 and Route 272 serving rural areas of North Kerry will not operate. These routes serve Ballyheigue and Tarbert areas.
Also Route 271 Tralee/Castleisland/Nadd/Cork remains cancelled.

In Cork, there is some disruption and delays to some services due to black ice. Services affected at the moment:
202 Mahon-Churchfield - Churchfield Hill and Kilmore Rd not served
208 - Bishoptown-Mayfield - not serving Curraheen Village
246,247,248 – Cancelled at moment
222 Cork-Fountainstown unable to serve Maryborohill
51 Cork-Limerick-Galway – major delays at moment.
Services in West Cork are delayed due to road conditions.
