Bus Éireann boost services for Sligo Warriors Run

The 2017 Sligo Warriors Run takes place in Strandhill on August 26th next and Bus Éireann will provide additional services to cater for competitors and spectators.

Those parking - or travelling - from Sligo town, to Strandhill, can avail of Bus Éireann’s additional evening departures on the S2 service between Sligo and Strandhill. The renowned 15 kilometre run is one of Ireland’s toughest races, and always attracts strong participation and support.

The times of additional departures are as follows:

Sligo (Centra, Opp. Bus Station) to Strandhill (Shore Road Car Park)
21.35, 22.35, 23.35

Strandhill (Shore Road Car Park) to Sligo:
21.05, 22.05, 23.05, 00.05

All other regular Saturday S2 services will run as normal and the timetable can be found here  

Bus Éireann Regional Manager North West, Rory Leahy said that extra public transport options would benefit the event:
