Bus Éireann to operate extra Nightrider services over Christmas

Travel on Bus Éireann’s late night services this Christmas

Planning to take a trip during the festive season to meet family or friends? Let Bus Éireann take the hassle out of commuting to Dublin City and the Greater Dublin Area.

Customers travelling to Balbriggan, Drogheda, Dunshaughlin, Navan, Naas, Newbridge and Clane can avail of Bus Éireann’s additional Christmas nightrider services. The extra services began operating on Friday, 4 December, 2015 and - along with our usual nightrider services - will transport customers every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday - with the exception of Dec 24 and 25 - until 27 December 2015. Regular nightrider services will resume from Jan 1st 2016

These extra services are in addition to Bus Éireann’s year-round scheduled Nightrider services, which operate on Friday and Saturday nights. The 101N Service will operate from Busáras, Dublin to Drogheda via Balbriggan at 00.30 and 03.30, and from Drogheda Bus Station to Dublin at 01.45. Single fares are €8.50 to Balbriggan and €11.50 to Julianstown and Drogheda Bus Station.

The 109N Service will operate from Busáras, Dublin to Navan via Dunshaughlin at 00.30 and 03.30. It will depart from Navan to Dublin at 01.45 and 04.45. Single fares are €8.50 to Dunshaughlin and €12.50 to Navan.

The 126N Service will operate from the Ha’penny Bridge, Dublin at 00.30 and 03.30 to Newbridge via Kill and Naas. It will depart from Newbridge to Dublin at 01.20 and 04.20, and also serves Sallins and Clane. Single fares are €8.50 to Kill Junction and €11.50 to Naas and Newbridge.

Tickets for all our Nightrider services are available to purchase on the service from the driver (Monthly and annual taxsaver tickets; and free travel passes issued by the Department of Social Protection are not valid on Nightrider services.)
