Bus Éireann the best value for hoildaymakers heading to Dublin Airport with €20 return fare

Bus Éireann’s  Expressway service from Galway to Dublin Airport is the perfect hassle free service for those jetting off on holidays this summer or heading off on a short break.

Priced at only €20 return, with a journey time of under three hours, our Route 20/x20 is the best value in the market, and a no-brainer compared to taking the car.

Even better again, we offer a family return ticket for just €40 for two adults and up to three children.

Travelling by Bus Éireann to Dublin Airport means that customers don’t have to worry about driving early in the morning or late at night, or about fuel costs and car parking fees.

The service departs from Ceannt Station in Eyre Square and also services Athlone via the N6 motorway.

Bus Éireann operates services from Galway to Dublin Airport on the X20 daily at 07:30; 09:30; 11:30; 13:30; 15:30; 17:30 and 20:00.

Services operate daily from Dublin Airport to Galway on the X20 at 06:50; 08:50; 09:50; 11:50; 13:50, 15:50 and 20:20.

In addition Bus Éireann’s existing Route 20 Galway-Dublin city service operates from 07:00 and serves towns such as Oranmore, Craughwell, Loughrea, Ballinasloe, Athlone, Moate, Kilbeggan and Kinnegad each way along its route. Services depart from Ceannt Station thereafter at 08:30; 10:30; 12:30, 14:30; 16:30; 18:30 and 21:30. Services from BusAras Dublin depart from 07:30 and then at 10:30; 12:30; 14:30; 16:30: 17:30: 18:30 and 21:30.
