Bus Éireann Introduces Revised Route 175/175A service from Monaghan-Cootehill-Cavan
As part of an ongoing review of public transport services in the Monaghan Area undertaken by the National Transport Authority, Bus Éireann will introduce a revised Route 175/175A, Monaghan-Cootehill-Cavan service, which will commence on Sunday, 24 November 2013.
This revised bus timetable has been designed to enhance the connectivity between Monaghan, Cootehill and Cavan, providing a direct service for students travelling to Cavan IT and for customers travelling to Cavan General Hospital. This revised service will have 6 daily weekday departures from Monaghan to Cavan.
Enhancements to the bus timetable include:
- Improved clock face frequency of services
- Increased departures to all locations
- Additional stops at Cavan IT and Cavan General Hospital
- Improved interchange opportunities at Monaghan & Cavan
Customers should note that the revised Route 175 service will serve Monaghan and Cavan via Cootehill and the Route 175A service will serve Monaghan and Cavan via Clones serving Cavan IT and Cavan General Hospital.
The changes to Route 175/175A will come into effect on Sunday, 24 November 2013. These changes have been approved by the National Transport Authority.
