Travel to London Olympics from Dublin from just €72 return with Bus Éireann Eurolines

Bus Éireann Eurolines is delighted to announce additional coach and ferry day services from Dublin to Birmingham and London for the Olympics 2012. The additional service will run from the 12 July till the 6 of September inclusive. They will complement the international coach company’s existing night-time services on the route.

The additional Eurolines service added for the Olympics in London will depart from Dublin (Busaras) at 07:00, and arrive in Birmingham city centre at 15:30 and London city centre at 19:00. The crossing will be onboard the largest car ferry in the world, the Irish Ferries “Ulysses”.

The existing night-time service already in place sees two coaches depart daily from Dublin Busaras, travelling via Holyhead and onwards to Leeds and London, the latter including stops in Manchester and Birmingham.

The increase in frequency is a reflection, in part, of the growing numbers using coach and ferry travel. Customers travelling from Dublin should be aware that adult fares include two medium size suitcases and all taxes from just €72 return and €85 return for all other locations on the Bus Éireann nationwide network (including travel on connecting Bus Éireann services). Customers are advised to books seats in advance to avoid any disappointment.

Eurolines is delighted to partner with Irish Ferries to provide our customers with a great value and convenient service travelling from Dublin to the UK for the London Olympics 2012.  This is a very popular service with numbers carried increasing by 10% last year. Customers can enjoy the free luggage provision with no hidden travel taxes and benefit from the excellent facilities that are on-board Irish Ferries,” said Rory Leahy, Eurolines Manager, Bus Éireann.
