Bus Éireann in Cork to provide Late Night Services for Christmas Period

Bus Éireann is to provide late night services on the weekends in the run-up to Christmas from Cork city to Carrigaline, Ballincollig and Midleton.

The services will operate from Cork city centre on Friday December 9th, Saturday December 10th, Friday December 16th and Saturday December 17th. Buses on each service will depart from St. Patrick’s Street at 01:00, 02:00 and 03:00 hours.

The Carrigaline service will depart outside Brown Thomas and will serve Douglas East Village, Maryborough Hill and Carrigaline.

The Ballincollig service will depart outside Debenhams and will serve Bishopstown via Curraheeen Road, Melbourne Road and Ballincollig.

The Midleton service will depart outside the Savoy and will serve Carrigtwohill and Midleton.

Single journey fares are €3 to Douglas Bishopstown, €5 to Ballincollig, Carrigaline and Carrigtwohill, or €8 to Midleton.

“Our Nightrider services over the Christmas period will give customers a real incentive to enjoy all the festivities and celebrations that Cork has to offer. Customers can shop, eat and enjoy all the partying without the worry and hassle of car parking, fuel costs or the expense involved in using other means of transport,” said Joe Fitzgerald, Regional Manager South, Bus Éireann.
