Christmas Specials on Galway services to Galway City with Bus Éireann

Bus Éireann has introduced great value Christmas Special Fares to Galway city from towns around the county in the run-up to Christmas. During the festive season parking at some of Galway’s largest shopping centres can lead to driver frustration and traffic congestion.

For Galway customers looking to avoid the Christmas traffic rush, Bus Éireann is advising customers to plan ahead and take the bus. This will provide easy and affordable access to the city for shopping and entertainment.

The promotional day return fares will see shoppers and revellers able to travel to the city from Tuam, Gort, Loughrea, Ballinasloe, Headford, Clifden, Kinvara, Mountbellow, Lettermullen and Carraroe for just €10.00 adult return and €5.00 child day return from now until 24 December 2011.
For commuters looking to avoid the Christmas traffic rush, Bus Éireann is delighted to be operating the Christmas Park & Ride service on behalf of Galway City Council. These bus services operate to and from the Park & Ride at Ballybrit Racecourse to the city centre every 15 minutes from 3 December to 24 December 2011.

These special fares are a great incentive for people travelling to and from Galway city this Christmas period. It is the most cost effective way for you to do your Christmas shopping this year by sitting back, relaxing and enjoying the Christmas experience in Galway city,” said Brian Connolly, Regional Manager West, Bus Éireann.
