Bus Éireann today welcomed the publication of the Farrell Grant Sparks (FGS) Report regarding a review of the School Transport Management Charge stating that the report provides clarification on a range of matters.

Bus Éireann fully agrees with yesterday’s statement by Ministers Varadkar, Kelly and Cannon regarding school transport tenders operated by Bus Éireann. We concur with the Ministers’ view that corruption is a criminal offence. We treat such matters with the utmost gravity.

Minister Kelly launches Leap Card in Cork - fares up to 16% cheaper

Alan Kelly TD, Minister for Public and Commuter Transport was in Cork this morning (Wednesday, 9 April 2014) with John O’Flynn, Leap Card Marketing Manager, National Transport Authority, and Martin Walsh, A/Regional Manager South, Bus Éireann, to launch the Leap Card integrated ticketing scheme in Cork.
