Route 101, Dublin - Airport - Balbriggan - Drogheda, effective 22 October 2012

Bus Éireann wishes to inform customers of alteration to route 101 effective Monday 22 October. From that date the 06:40 (Monday to Friday) service Dublin/Dublin Airport/Balbriggan/Drogheda will depart Dublin city at 06:40 and operate 10 minutes earlier throughout serving Dublin Airport at 07:00, Swords Bypass at 07:05, Balrothery at 07:25, Balbriggan at 07:30, Julianstown at 07:45 to arrive at Drogheda at 07:50.

Route 22, Dublin - Airport - Mullingar - Longford - Ballina, effective 7 October 2012

Bus Éireann has announced a new timetable on its Expressway Route 22 commercial service, operating via M4 motorway, which will result in a more direct service between Ballina and Dublin City / Dublin Airport, with improved journey times of up to 25 minutes on some services. The revised Expressway Route 22 service will start from 7 October 2012.

Revised Limerick City Services effective 16 September 2012

Following a review of public transport services in Limerick undertaken by the National Transport Authority, Bus Éireann is pleased to announce a revised Limerick City bus network to provide customers with an improved level of service including more frequent services, increased reliability, clearer timetables, and a simplified network. The changes, which have been approved by the National Transport Authority, will come into effect from Sunday, 16 September 2012.

On Fridays the 1045 Mallow/Cork service will operate via Waterloo (depart 1135). The 1730 Monday to Friday service Route 243, Cork - Mallow - Buttevant - Newmarket will be deferred to depart at 1745 and will serve Waterloo (arrive 1810). These service changes will be implemented 23 July 2012.

Cork City Routes 210, 215, 216 & 224, from 22 July 2012

Cork City Services - As part of an ongoing review undertaken by the National Transport Authority (NTA) on public transport services in Cork, Bus Éireann is pleased to announce new/revised routes – Route 215 and Route 216, which will come into effect on Sunday, 22 July 2012. Routes 210 & 224 - Customers should also be aware that the Route 210 and Route 224 will no longer operate but the routes will be served by the Route 215 and the Route 216. Customers travelling between Waterloo and Cork should avail of Route 243 services, please see above.
